APAICS promotes the participation of Asian Pacific Americans in the political process on a national level. Through the Summer Internship Program, APAICS hopes to encourage the political involvement, foster interest in public policy-related careers, and develop leadership skills. Interns will be placed in Congress, federal agencies, and non-profit pubic policy organizations.
