Funds from the Emma Nylen Charitable Trust helps "motivated and needy" students to achieve a higher education, preferably to be used in a field which will benefit children in some way. The programs available under the Charitable Trust are as varied as the needs of the individuals. General categories include: occupational training in a trade or technical program; higher education or training for attendance at junior and four year colleges; and internships for recreation or child care/development majors already in an institution of higher learning.
