Rololfo Cortez is a major in Psychology at Berkeley. Also a McNair scholar, Rodlfo has been involves with the People's Test Preparation Service and Making Waves Educational Program. Rodolfo plans to pursue a research career in developmental psychology in the future. He plans to apply for a Ph.D. at Yale during his senior year.

Michael Uy graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2007 as a double major in music and Political Economy of Industrial Societies. Michael has distinguished himself as an outstanding student during is time at Berkeley. In addition to the Cooke Scholarship, he was also a Regents and Chancellor's Scholars, a Robert & Colleen Haas Scholar, and the recipient of the Library Prize for Undergraduate Research. Michael was accepted at Oxford University to pursue an M.Phil. in musicology.

Vivian Jiang, a major in chemical biology, aims to conduct translational medical research in the field of infectious diseaes or immunology. She has served as the associate editor of the Triple Helix, the Journal of Science, Society and Law at Berkeley and has written for theBerkeley Medical Journal. Vivian hopes to attend a M.D./Ph.D. program in the future.

René Flores is a major in interdiscinplinary studies with an emphasis in politician xenophobia. René has been involved with the Discrimination Research Center at Berkeley, been a reporter for the Daily Californian, served a a board member for the University Students' Cooperative Association, and founded the Students of Latin America and Racism and Inequity in Structures of Education. René hopes to enroll in a Ph.D. program in sociology in the fall.

Emma Shaw Crane is a major in interdisciplinary studies field major in race, gender, and development. Emma started the B-Tech Community Media Project, which works to integrate community media and technological skills and engage young people in school by linking students personal to the school curriculum. Emma has also worked for Prison Radio Migrant Education, and the Center for Race and Gender Research. Emma plans to continue her studies in graduate school.

Asya Passinsky graduated in spring 2007 as a double major in political economy industrial societies and Russian language and literature. Asya received a gold medal in ice dance in 2007 from the United States Figure Skating Association. At Berkeley, Asya co-founded the California Figure Skating UC Berkeley Sport Club, was a reporter and editor for the Daily Californian, and was the recipient of the Alumni Leadership scholarship. At Oxford, Asya will pursue a B.Phil in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
