The purpose of the scholarship, in accordance with the clear stipulation of the Staceys' will, is to support artists devoted to the classical or conservative tradition of Western Culture: high standard in the study of form, color, drawing, painting, design, and technique. Awards are granted for the furtherance of the recipient’s art education.
