The Ford Foundation offers doctoral fellowships to minority groups whose under representation has been severe and long-standing. The fellowship program identifies individuals of demonstrated ability and who show the greatest promise for future achievement as scholars, researchers, and teachers in institutions of higher education. Individuals enrolled in practice-oriented programs will not be supported. The scholarship is renewable.
