Award Amount: $27,000/year for 3 years
The Ford Foundation offers predoctoral fellowships to minority groups whose under representation has been severe and long-standing. The fellowship program identifies individuals of demonstrated ability who show the greatest promise for future achievement as scholars, researchers, and teachers in institutions of higher education. The scholarship is renewable. Fellowships are tenable at any fully accredited, nonproprietary (not for profit) U.S. institution of higher education offering a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree in an eligible field of study. Individuals enrolled in practice-oriented programs will not be supported.
