The purpose of the Financial Leadership Scholarships is to encourage leadership and provide opportunities for Bay Area women in the field of finance. The Financial Women's Association makes annual awards in the spring to graduate and undergraduate students pursuing a career in Finance at an accredited college or university located within one of the nine bay area counties. Scholarship selection criteria is based on leadership skills through academic achievement and honors, work experience, extracurricular activities, communication skills, and financial need.
