UC Berkeley Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Rose Hills Program

Award Amount: $5000 (plus $1000 for lab funds)
UCB Students Only
The SURF/Rose Hills program, running parallel to SURF L&S, allows students to immerse themselves in full-time research over the summer. Thanks to the generous support of The Rose Hills Foundation, we are now able to offer fellowships for $6,000:
$5,000 for the student,
$1,000 for supplies
This can be either:
a) Sophomores or juniors looking for a faculty-initiated research experience under the guidance of a UC Berkeley or UCSF faculty member during the summer; or
b) funding for juniors planning to conduct independent research in preparation for an honors thesis
c) funding for graduating seniors working on an independent project, preferably for eventual publication.
