The Emiliano Hernandez Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by the Gamma Zeta Alpha-Chapter and Gamma Chapter Alumni (GCA). The committee will award two $1500 and three $1000 scholarships. Open to all current UC Berkeley undergraduate students that identify as Latinx students including Berkeley Undergraduate Dream Act Aid recipients, DACAmented students.

SELECTION CRITERIA First-Generation College Student (Neither parent/guardian has received a 4-year degree) Pell grant eligible/recipient OR CA Dream Act recipient AND Demonstrated Commitment to the Latinx community Leadership & Service AND Must be a full-time UC Berkeley student Minimum 2.5 GPA Proof of enrollment and good standing in the university upon being selected for the scholarship award
