Chun-Man Chow : Churchill Scholarship

Chun Man Chow is in the class of 2016 at UC Berkeley, majoring in Environmental Engineering Science and Chemical Engineering with a 4.0 GPA. His career goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering as well as tack issues of water crisis and climate change through scientific research and engineering design. Chows participation in the Cal Energy Corps program in 2013, where he saw first-hand the problem of water contamination through his field-work in India, motivated him to pursue a research career in science and engineering. His current involvement in the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship program, where he is working with technology for solar collectors and high energy density flow batteries, will contribute to his pursuit to solve environmental problems he encounters.
